Activities:
Throughout my academic years, I did not focus solely on studying. I also spent time on community engagement, extracurricular activities, personal growth, and friends.
During my first year studying in the US, I was grateful to meet a lot of nice friends who helped me integrate with the new environment. The teachers were very nice as well. We are still keeping in touch until now.
One of the best decisions that I made was joining the soccer team. Not just because I had the chance to train myself for better health, but also because I can travel through the whole state.
The next school year might be the best but also the worst year of my life. I moved to an international school in Indiana which has an entire dorm for international students. We all spent time together and shared beautiful memories. I also participated in an auction event hosted by the school and I was allowed to create an art piece for the event. It was a meaningful night.
However, at the end of the year, Covid-19 came and everyone had to leave early. I did not even have a chance to say goodbye to some of them. That was a really sad moment.
Youth Environmental Summit - YES 2018
In 2018, I had a chance to go to Singapore and participated in the event about the environment. The experience was so unique because it was the first time I stepped out of my country, witnessed a new culture and meet people from all around the world. All the ideas were so creative and I hope one day those ideas can be actualized.
Cybersecurity Workshop
In Fall 2023, I volunteered as a student helper in the cybersecurity workshop. My primary role was to help high school students work on the hands-on cyberattack. The event went really smoothly and successfully. It was an exciting experience and I would love to participate more in those activities!
